So, for the past four days I've been retrieving all of the pictures, video and music that's saved on my desktop computer. Why you ask? Well, it seems I have 3458904380 trojan vundo virus thingies on my computer. And the worst part? I have no fucking clue how they got there. I took it in to be checked and he told me that I better take it back home and get everything off of it that needed to be saved, depending on how far this virus has buried itself within Windows, they may have to restore it to factory settings. Isn't that just fucking great? : / So, because I like to live dangerously, apparently, I've never backed up anything on that computer...like...ever...seriously, there are pictures on it from 2005. And of course my boys' entire childhood is stored in the infected computer. God, talk about mother of the year...hahaha. So yeah.. 4394859043 hours later.. I'm done and it's all safe for the time being. Taking the computer back to the geeks tomorrow...blah.

So, like a lot of you, I don't make New Year's resolutions. I never keep them and it serves to do nothing but depress once I realize that fact. haha!
What I am going to do is make a list of goals for the year... (totally not the same..shut it.)
I think that's about it for now.. I may have to add to this list as the year goes on though. Love you guys! Sorry about the long-windedness.

It has been raining here non stop since Thursday afternoon. All of the main roads are sporadically flooded, the creek across from my neighborhood has risen to ungodly levels and IT"S STILL RAINING! I really wish I could go out and get some shots of what these poor people's backyards look like who live right on the creek bed.. it's really bad.
Undoubtedly this is nothing compared to what the poor people in Hurricane Ike's path have been facing. But, I wish it would just stop already. My dog is being a gigantic pain in the ass, sitting at the patio door whining because she's scared to go out in the rain and I've been out there 12983102 times today in my flip flops to hold an umbrella over her while she does her business. It's ridiculous, I know. But she won't leave me alone, it's the only solution. *sigh* Fuck this, I'm going to back to bed.

Nothing really all that exciting, just cleaning my office in anticipation of moving everything out of it on Tuesday because the carpet installers are coming, wednesday. yay! We've lived here for four years now and we've needed new carpet since then, haha. So I'm really excited. The house is almost the way we envisioned it when we bought it four years ago and we plan on moving next summer. Isn't that a bitch? haha! Hopefully, all the hard work will pay off, though.
I'll have to post some before and after pics when it's complete just so I can show you what brilliant men my husband and father are. Well, my husband's not so much the brains as he is the brawn. His dad was more the "call someone to fix it" type, so Shawn never really got a chance to learn any of this stuff before my dad came along. And, he really knows absolutely nothing about home repair, ( wait, I lie he's a light fixture installation genius *rolls eyes* ) but, I'm proud of him because he tried so hard and learned a lot from my dad along the way. I'm also proud of the both of us for installing the laminate flooring in the dining room by ourselves with no help at all from my dad. We didn't even argue and there was no blood or injury involved. It was like, a miracle. HAHAHA!
Yeah, so I'm going to start posting more here because I like to talk about random nonsense way too much to only have.. what? 3 entries in this thing? So, yep, expect to hear a lot more of this random crap in the future. I know you can't wait! ;)
